As if the Los Angeles Clippers' new Intuit Dome isn't cool enough, Steve Ballmer enlisted one of the movie industry's most celebrated composers to write a new theme song for the franchise.
Hans Zimmer composed the triumphant theme that debuted during the team's first regular-season home opener on Wednesday.
The theme, "Summon the Wave, will play alongside a hype video on the arena's "HALO" board before every home game.
Zimmer, the German-born, two-time Academy Award winner, was recognized with the awards for Best Original Score for "The Lion King" in 1994 and "Dune" in 2021.
He is also famous for composing the themes to "The Pirates of the Caribbean," "Top Gun: Maverick," "Gladiator," "The Thin Red Line," "Rain Man," "The Dark Knight," trilogy, "Inception," "12 Years A Slave" and "Blade Runner 2049."
