Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson surprised one of his super fans during a tour of the Disney lot.
On Monday, Johnson posted a video of the sweet interaction on Instagram.
The video shows 11-year-old Marco revealing to the WWE superstar-turned-actor that he was his "biggest fan." After introducing himself and shaking the Great One's hand, Marco's eyes immediately welled up with tears.
Seeing the youngster's emotion, Johnson asks his fan to bring it in for a hug.
Johnson was on the lot filming the live-action version of the 2016 animated hit "Moana." He was sporting an all-black Under Armour outfit to cover his large tattoo. The actor voiced the character of Maui in the animated film and will reprise that role in the upcoming movie.
"They say 'Never meet your heroes'... But that saying always bugged the heck outta me - because I’ve always felt if you’re a 'celebrity' of any caliber and you’re LUCKY enough to have some fame and influence - then be grateful for the position you’re in and be KIND and GOOD to people — ESPECIALLY OUR KIDS," Johnson wrote in his caption on Instagram.
"Sure I’ve met some a#%holes as an adult, who I was so excited to finally meet and wound up being super disappointed- but that further cemented how I feel about fame," he continued.
The "Black Adam" star shared that when he was a kid he met Muhammad Ali, one of his heroes, and explained how that interaction made a huge impact on him.
"He was so sweet and kind to me. Put me on his lap, and talked to me as if I was the only kid in the world," he explained. "That made a MASSIVE POSITIVE impression on me that I never forgot."
Johnson then directed his caption to young Marco.
"Marco - it’s great to meet you, shake your hand and give ya a hug. Keep up the great work in school and THANK YOU big man for being my biggest fan!!!"
He ended his note saying, "P.S. us boys cry too."
