Netflix's upcoming "Peaky Blinders" movie has a new addition.

On Thursday, the streamer revealed that Irish actor Barry Keoghan has signed on.

"Barry Keoghan has joined the cast of the upcoming 'Peaky Blinders' film, alongside the previously announced Cillian Murphy and Rebecca Ferguson!" Netflix posted to X, formerly Twitter.

Keoghan received praise for his performance in 2023's "Saltburn," which earned him a BAFTA and Golden Globe nomination. His 2022 performance in "The Banshees of Inisherin" earned him an Oscar nomination.

In June it was revealed that a "Peaky Blinders" film was in the works, about two years after the British period crime drama series ended its run. The BBC series ran for six seasons from 2013 to 2022.

Acadamy-award-winning Murphy will reprise his role as Thomas Shelby, the leader of the Birmingham crime family.

Plot details and further casting news of the upcoming film remain under wraps. However, the show's creator Steven Knight told Deadline the movie will take place during World War II.

The outlet reports that production is set to begin next year.

A release date has not been announced.
