Bruno Mars may have had a rough start to the first of his two big shows at the new Intuit Dome in Inglewood on Thursday night.
But he did leave the door open for a major surprise.
Hours after teasing a collaboration with Lady Gaga, Mars surprised fans by bringing the "Million Reasons" singer onstage to perform their new song "Die With A Smile."
The venue's official account on X, formerly Twitter, posted a video from the set.
"We can die with a smile seeing Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga live," the post said.
"How are you feeling L.A.?" the Oscar-winner asked the crowd in another clip posted to social media.
“Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for the icon, pop royalty, Lady Gaga,” Mars yelled out. “You guys are gonna be the first to hear us play this song live.”
The two stayed on theme with their single's album cover. Gaga sported her hair in a voluminous beehive hairstyle along with white tights and a white plaid mini dress, while Mars donned a tan cowboy hat with a baby pink short-sleeve button-up shirt.
The "24K Magic" singer played the guitar as Gaga rocked out on the piano to the smooth R&B single.
Mars hits the stage again on Friday at 8:00 p.m.
