A shocking photo is going viral.
It shows a baby lying on the floor of Friday night's Taylor Swift Eras Tour concert in Paris at the La Défense Arena.
The since-deleted photo was posted to X, formerly Twitter, from the account @Jacnights13.
It shows a young child lying on a purple furry coat while wearing a light-up bracelet given to fans with an adult standing over the child.
“Not to be one of those people but I would genuinely call security if I saw a baby in the pit because it is NOT safe there,” the user captioned the photo according to Deadline.
Immediately people weighed in on the social media platform.
"As a mom of a baby that’s about this size, I couldn’t imagine being them into a concert at all. I understand sitters are hard to find, so if you really needed to bring them, you shouldn’t be in the pit. you should have a carrier for them, and the baby needs ear protection," wrote one user.
For some perspective, another user posted a photo of what a full arena looks like during a Swift show.
"Just to paint the full picture this is general admission at the Paris show tonight… and that baby is somewhere on the floor AT THIS SHOW! Like WTF they have lost their minds! terrible parenting."
Another photo was posted from a different angle, which shows the youngster on the floor next to a merchandise bag full of clothing.
In the photo, one fan noted that the child was wearing headphones.
"I’m not defending the mom’s decision but the baby is wearing ear protection, you can see it better in this picture," they wrote.
La Défense Arena released a statement on this, which was obtained by the Dailly Mail.
"Paris La Defense Arena general terms and conditions of sale stipulate that all minors (without any age limit) holding a ticket for a concert at Paris La Défense arena must be accompanied by an adult," the venue said.
"Under 18 children remain under their legal guardian responsibility, it’s venue policy. For spectators with a young child in the floor, an alternative seating arrangement was proposed but refused by ticket holders."
So far the "Karma" singer hasn't addressed this.
Swift is currently on the European leg of her Eras Tour. Her next stop is on May 17 at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
